Loud clunk on full lock when parking

I've had my FR tdi for a few years and it's always had a loud clunk when turning on full lock at low speeds. I bought it with 74k on the clock and it's now on 94k.

I've had it checked, tracking done, front rear bushes done and nobody seems to know it is?

It doesn't always make the noise but seems to only happen on full lock when parking.

The car drives straight and is great on the motorway.

Any ideas?

I'd start by looking at ball joints, ARB bushes/condition, droplinks.

anti roll bar bushes, and the alignment of the bar are a good place to start.

IIRC even with decent bushes if the bar isn't sat right it'll knock about.

Have someone turn the wheel, get under the car and check the steering rack for any movement

Broken springs or top mounts can clunk/ping when turning. Worn inner tie rod on mine also pings at parking speeds.
