Thanks guys - had the rear lights coded in today by my Seat garage so no more warning lights! :)

Also these turned up -

Hoping to get them fitted this weekend, just ordered a new gasket and polished the tips

Thanks baz!

Spent a day cleaning her yesterday with:

Snow foamed

2 bucket method with a grit guard
Meguires clay bar
Clay mit after just to be sure
Autoglym Polish
G3 compound on certain areas
Autoglym HD Wax
V7 Sealant

Bilt hamber on the wheels

Autosol on the exhaust

Still not 100% but soo much better than before, anyone with candy white I would definitely recommend claying makes the world of difference! Anyways here are the pics

Next major mod will be intake and eventually the exhaust will be turbo back :D

Love the rear lights, shame they don't fit pre FL cars.

They do if you fit a facelift tailgate ;)

Thanks baz!

Car looks great!

Some Iron-X would also be good for your wash process as it will get rid of some contaminants that a clay bar wont ;)

Thanks Danny, well story with the rear lights is a 2012 FR came In at work and I noticed the lights so swapped them over :) I've read they are expensive though and eBay will probably be your best bet.

Haha thanks Daniel I've run out of iron X but have ordered some more to use on her as the paint still isn't 100% in certain areas and that Should take care of it

Cheers G4reth trying to upgrade as I go - fingers crossed to have my intake within a couple of weeks :D

I hope your work can sell the car you took the lights off to someone with no clue about the car now having the wrong lights on.

So to confirm..

How much did the lights cost?

How much did/would it cost to sort the coding out? (Not knowing someone at seat)

And is it worth the hassle and the price for someone that has neither of those?

Cheers guys!

From a dealers I've read the lights are around £500 for the pair ( best bet is to call your local seat)

Fitting / labour time you'll probably be charged 1 hour even if it takes less so depending on dealer around £70+VAT ish

Then it's up to you whether you can warrant the money for them. I think they look great myself but not worth buying from Seat. Best bet is checking eBay or as Valeo make a lot of headlights etc check eurocarparts as they have a few different rear lights for the Leon (unfortunately no pics) but they could be them if you can find the part no.

Hope this helps

Thanks mate! Haha yes they are expensive new but always worth trying ebay etc someone might be willing to post out to you :)

Now had a few updates recently which are as follows:

LED Number plate Lights

EVOMS Intake

Gloss Black Wheels (Plastidip'd as I wasn't 100% on black wheels)

Whilst the wheels were off I cleaned and polished the calipers (as shown in the pic above) but I am going to repaint them red as they will only fade again!

Gloss Black Centre Caps

My latest project is an engine cover that I ordered off ebay and I plan on cutting and spraying it to go with my EVOMS.

Oh and not really a mod but she is booked in to have the cambelt and water pump done Monday at Seat :)

Any comments welcome

Very nice clean car you've got there, looks awesome. Love the facelift cupras. What are the number plate light from? I could do with some for mine as I've had my "canbus free" (supposedly)have started throwing error codes up after 7 months.
