Hello All!

Recently got my new car

Seat Leon 2.0 TDI 184 FR 5dr
Tech Pack
Alor Blue18" Alloys

i was under the impression the cars cabin noise changed when selecting sport mode due to the sound actuator but when its in sport i don't notice a difference in sound

Is there a volume for this and does it definitely have it?

Thanks in advance!

Mine definitely has it. Also a 184. You can only change the volume via VCDS. But the preset volume is at 100% anyways I think as some people turn it down

mine has it,

it only really changes when you go into the high revs, if your driving round normal in sport mode you cant tell, but once you put your foot down you can

I think the sound actuator was removed for newer models, in my2014 you can definitely hear it in Sport no matter the RPMs.

My 2015 184 FR definitely doesn't have it (thankfully!)

I heard the 2015 FR 184's don't have an sound actuator. Can't confirm though, if you look under the window scuttle where the wipers sit, you should be able to find the actuator and if it's not there then there's the answer. :D

I've a Leon Cupra 265HP DSG SC, I'm Mexican and my Leon released with the sound actuator. It's sad know the sound wasn't real.

Anyway I already disconected it from the engine bay.

Meppershall Beds.
my late 2013 ST 184 has it and it sounded poxy in sport, so I found a very nice VCDS owner locally who turned it down to 30% for me.
You could ALWAYS hear it before when accelerating in any gear in Sport.
Now I've got the red door LEDs back:)
