Following the emissions warning light coming on, some juddery driving, and a P0101 MAF code I first cleaned the MAF Sensor, then when that didn't work I replaced it.

Still runs no better, same code appearing, and loads of black smoke on acceleration. I can clear the code for a while then it comes back on.

I'm a bit stuck as to what to try next, any ideas please?

Cheers

it's a 56 plate 2.0 TDI 140 PD

Thanks for the replies, the problem came to a head today when on the way to the garage the turbo pipe came off with a bang!

New one being fitted tomorrow, hopefully all will be good then, fingers crossed.
