You probably already know but when you remove the diff from that box you should really unbolt the ring gear from it and drill the one off your old diff to fit. That and the gear on the output shaft are paired

Just read this over good work mate love reading what people get done.can you tell me more about the coil pack conversion is there different types to chose from and if so where can I buy? Want to upgrade mine asap and the charge pipe looks spot on I'll definitely be looking to get one of those over the forge

Thanks very much

Heres a link to the kit I have and all the options http://www.awesomegti.com/car/seat/leon1m/ecs-tuning-1-8t-to-2-0t-coil-pack-conversion-kit

I've got the 2.0 tfsi coil packs (R8 wasnt and option before) there are other options available on Awesomes website but the car did feel better for them.

The trackslag charge pipe is much better than the forge, it makes the forge look cheap imo, also the trackslag is bigger and comes with new silicone joiner to come off the top of the turbo, jubilees and clamps to hold it down. You do need to modify the top bracket that holds the pipe in place though

Not been on here in ages but great to read your updates mate, car is coming along really well.

Diff is going to be awesome, best mod I've done I'd say :)
