Hello,

Do the standard Leon or Leon FR mudflaps fit the Leon cupra 280? Has anyone tried either or both? I understand there's different part number for the standard Leon and the FR....

I tried buying some cheap ones off eBay,£20 for front and rear and of course they don't fit.

can anyone advise? :)

Thanks!

I've got mud flaps on my Cupra ST. Dealer fitted them before I picked up the car so there is def a set out there that fits the Cupra.

The fronts (top part number) won't fit if u have side skirts though.

From what I can see, they do those mudflaps for the front and fears, but I also see they do these for the rears for FR models: 5F0075101B

Which ones are most likely going to fit the cupra? Can you let me know how you get on when you get round to fitting yours please? :)

Not sure if I have sideskirts, I don't think I do I think they were an accessory in the book at the end which I didn't spec!

From what the parts guy at the dealer told me the fronts are all the same fitment and the fr rears are the one's that fit the cupra hatchback. ST rears are totally different.

Need to give it a good clean over the weekend first but hopefully will get it on the ramp in work on Monday night and fit them along with a triple r front splitter

Wouldn't fit them unless they are the integrated and painted in body colour type.
"granny flaps" only look cool on a Lancia Stratos or STI but imho. spoil the looks a two wheel drive onroad model.

Just spoken to my local dealer, apparently there are only fronts available for the cupra for £62 from the dealer, are we sure the fr rear ones fit guys? Thanks!

According to the dealer I bought mine from they do. There's another post somewhere on here I saw a while ago about it. Also there's a red cupra in the wheel gallery with them fitted.

Just been outside and offered them up in place and yes they line up perfectly. Excuse the state of the car (still not had chance to clean it hence why I've not fitted them yet). The mounting holes easily line up with the arch lining screws. See pic

I believe the fronts are a bit more difficult as u have to drill the arch liner for additional screws.

Thank you mate, let me know how you get on with the fronts. I had a quick look today, I could see 2 screws on the front arch liners which I'm assuming is where the fronts will attach....how many holes are on your front ones mate? And was there 2 screws on the back ones too?

Sorry I been out the country. So not able to look at my invoice to get part numbers. Would mine be any use anyway as I have an ST

I paid £175 total for both set of mud flaps and a Seat boot liner all including fitting.

So I got round to fitting the full set of mud flaps last night. Rears were really straight forward. 2 screws inside the wheel arch liner and one on the underside of the bumper see pictures...

Rears were more involved as u have to drill 2 holes in each wheel arch liner. Had the car up on a 2 post ramp in the workshop so managed to do it with the wheels on bud would be much easier removing them.

Remove both screws and pull back the liner to reveal a square hole for a screw insert

Offer up the mud flap and mark where you need to drill the extra 2 holes. Remove and drill where necessary.

Fit bottom insert then fit and fully secure flap. Job done!

Managed to fit mine over the weekend. I didn't bother screwing the extra holes on the fronts, they seem to hug the car's arches and don't look like they won't do the job they are intended for without the extra screws! Thanks for the informative pictures, they were greate!

Put fronts and rears on today. Rears where actually more time consuming as I had to take the wheel off. Easy enough though and quite inconspicuous. Hopefully stop those stone chips on the back bumper.

The fronts are 5F0075111 for all models.

Message these guys on Facebook as they had a new delivery of fronts a few weeks ago, so despite what the website says they are probably in stock, and only £49.

The ST rears are different part number, there are a lot on eBay if you search for Leon ST mudflaps.

Cheers. Pricey though! Skoda ones were 45 quid for a set and same Thing
