Ipod bluetooth album art

Sorry if its been mentioned before, i did have a quick search on the forum

I have a 5th gen ipod touch and i thought that when it was hooked up to the bluetooth it would show the album art? Is this true or am i barking up the wrong tree!!

Think it only works if the music on the iPod is from a legitimate source

I don't think Bluetooth has the relevant protocols to be able to share album art, I could be wrong though.

Music is from itunes / apple music

Oh well i will be going for the full link sometime in the new year!!
