Whos running what bhp on there pd130/pd160s and mods!!

Hi all im Building my cupra tdi pd160... new cam kit new water pump new head kit and injector seals so its running sweet.. Just fitted a straight through 2.5" piper sytem from cat. Seat sport front mount and egr delete kit.. looking for the best mods people have done to get a good bhp out of theres?? Anyone recomend a good remap company in near rugby thanks

I've had all the same plus oil pump changed on my Cupra too. It's been off road since January and only just starting to see some use.

I've fitted a Milltek decat/downpipe, K&N panel filter, EGR delete and a hybrid tubro which has been remapped by Derv Tech in Manchester. Derv Tech estimate it should be pushing around 210/220 bhp which is enough for me considering the size and weight of the car.

I've a few friends from around the Midlands and they highly rate R-Tech Power for their remaps.

I had 305BHP out my old cupra tdi...check out my readers ride.
I broke it for bits and sold everything in March...just bought myself another one to run around in with my own stage 1 map on it, probably running shy of 200BHP at the minute

R-tech only do custom stage 1 mapping on TDIs these days. If you have a hybrid you'll be taking it elsewhere

The car hasn't been washed in months so pictures are non existent at the moment lol

To be honest I can't really say much about the K&N panel filter, the air filter I had in before was dirty and well due a change.. in future I'll be saving my pennies and sticking with a new OEM one.

Just over a grand, think are about 1.2 grand now but come with a bilet wheel. Faster spool and a little more power?
Standard filter in the pd160 air box which is good for 300hp
I've tried performance filters but the mess up the MAF IMP
Goes like stink!

I have a 56 plate pd160 with 46k my original turbo popped!

In the past 6 months

Turbo active stage 2 hybrid with large billet wheel, new oil feed

Custom Celtic tuning mapped for my turbo

Hard pipe kit

Forge boost pipe

Cone filter

Turbo back exhaust consisting of 3" decat down pipe into 2.5" system for good torque figures

Power wise haven't a clue need to book it in on the rollers however I'm still on standard clutch till I get more cash

But .... Keeps up with my mates 280bhp Cupra r

I know my clutch slips on low end torque now and then but once a better clutch goes in I'm getting it mapped again by p torque for a custom power map
