Hi,

Owned my Leon FR in white for well over a year now and done so much to it I thought it best I make one of these Reader Ride threads, to keep track of everything as you do.. Quick pic of my previous car a Clio 182, loved it to bits but it was time to move on:

Anyway, here is a few shots from the day I picked my Leon up:

Next up, the 17" alloys had to go - replaced with the marmite 18" Audi Rotors. Along with the alloys I got the front part of bumper behind the number plate and also the front grille wrapped in black to give it that meaner, aggressive look at the front. How good does this stance look...

Couple of engine mods done:

Bluefin Remap ☑
Rev D Diverter Valve ☑
Forge Intercooler Pipes ☑
Evoms Induction Kit ☑

Then added the tailgate spoiler in white ( possibly should have gone Gloss Black? )

Fast forwarding to how she is looking today: lowered on Sportlines, LED tail lights fitted, Triple R Composite splitter, Audi Rotors powder coated Black, Black wing mirror covers, wind deflectors and the front bumper recently wrapped black at the bottom. Obviously the mod bug refuses to leave so I am wondering what to do next? Bonnet vents, side decals.. Any Suggestions?

Cheers guys, looking at side indicators on eBay already (link here). It's only really after you mentioned them Never that I noticed the current fried egg indicators need addressing.

Looks Sweet!!

My next mod is to wrap my roof and front bumper in line with the grill both black. I was thinking about lowering mine on H&R springs, what made you choose Sportlines? The height looks the same both front and rear, which is the look I was after.

Thanks Shar, much appreciated. Sportlines seemed to have good testimonials on this forum and in fairness they didn't disappoint. Rides much better than standard and the stance without being a bumper scratcher looks superb. But whichever spring you choose, it will totally transform the look and feel of your car.

Looks lovely mate. Got smoked sides on mine, nice cheap mod and make a big difference. I wouldn't put bonnet vents on it though.

Bonnet strut mod is another nice and cheap one to do as is a stubby aerial. Check my readers ride as I've done them.

Thanks chaps, just bought myself a 'bullet bee sting aerial' - CLICKY and also a little magnet to hold my phone up on the dash, looks pretty smart.

Looking really nice there mate, very clean and tidy and that aerial looks pretty sweet haha! =)

They do look beautiful in White, although I'm personally less partial to White as it shows up muck so easily :S

I like the blue on the Mk3, Alor Blue (just looked it up hehe!) But everyone has their own style of colour they like, as I said though it is beautiful in White, no question about that!

Car looks good mate, giving me some inspiration, just wandered how you did the middle of your front bumper black? I want mine done but a few peoe said it's an awkward area to wrap?

What drop are the sportlines??

Cheers troops, I just got the local vinyl wrap company to do for me Jon. Wish I had the patience and skill to do myself but it was only £20 odd and makes such a massive difference to the front end. Is your FR white also?

I believe the drop on Sportlines is 30mm at the rear and 20mm at the front.

Yeah it's white, looks like yours with the LED lights at the back but higher haha just got the standard 18's on though which I've done anthracite

Calipers are painted red now, but will get a picture of that once this weather changes..

All tyres wrapped in Toyo proxes T1 Sports now and awaiting btcc side skirts to be painted and ready for fitment. Also got one of those, aerofoil/mud gaurds that the MK2 Cupra R has - I put them on upside down like a numpty, but they look the part at least:
