Have a 2011 Seat Leon 1.6TDI Copa.

Recently Bluetooth suddenly stopped working. Main screen just shows message "Phone Starting". Cannot do anything with bluetoot settings apart from reset unit to factory defaults which I have done but without fixing issue.

I have read on VW forums that this just needs a reset of the Bluetooth module to fix it. Basically locate module and remove and reseat connector should do it.

Looks easy on a VW Golf YouTube video I watched but I just cannot locate the module on my car. Apparently it is located under the passenger seat but I cannot see anything there.

Could anyone possibly point me in the right direction or even better send me a link with instructions or a video of how to do this.

Cheers

Baz

Thanks for your replies.

From what I can see online it would appear it is the RNS 315.

That would also explain why I cant find anything below the driver seat.

Does anyone know how to reset the Bluetooth in this device.

I have tried rest to factory defaults and also disconnecting battery from car for half an hour but still same Bluetooth issue.

Thanks.

There is an option to reset to factory defaults but it does not fix problem.

I am beginning to suspect the unit has a fault but as I will be selling car fairly soon to trade I reckon I will leave them to worry about it.
