Little update - Sold my Bentley alloys to my mate for his S8, felt they were a tad too big for the car so part of the deal was cash plus a set of S3 wheels he had sitting, so i had something other than my FR550 alloys to put on the car, also means the S3 wheels were a better fitment with no need for spacers..

Had my tracking done and 215 35 18 tyres fitted all round so i could fully air out, need to get a few more pictures of the car in better lighting but for now im happy with how it looks, just need my front arches fixed and painted, BTCC skirts and re wrap my front number plate plinth.

Also bought shortened rear struts from a mate for the rear of the leon as im still on standard shocks, so these will be fitted soon along with shortening the rear mounting brackets on the airbag mounts so i can go another inch lower when fully aired out.

Needs a stubby aerial though in my opinion. Citroen C2 one off eBay are only £7

Its in the pipe line, my mate works for a parts department at a big car sales, he has a drawer full of stubby aerials, its just reminding him to get me one

So i ordered brakes for the leon, something that would fill the 18" wheels. Brembo 18z 6 pot calipers, Mercedes ML450 350mm Discs, Braided Lines, Disc Spigots, Brake pad kit, fitting bolts etc

And i wasnt told off for building them up on the bed!!

Hopefully get them properly cleaned up and fitted this weekend, im being too impatient to wait for them to be stripped and coated.

Since i haven't updated this in a while there has been a few things done to the car despite it feeling like it hasnt changed any at all, So far i have bought:

Stubby aerial (It was greatly needed - Just haven't fitted it yet)
New Pioneer MVH-AV270BT Double din, steering wheel controls and fascia surround
Fitted by Brembo 18Z 6 pots and 350mm Discs
De-Badge front Grill
S2000 Filter
LED Red lights (Cunbus error free)
12" sub and 2 Amps for my new false floor/ Air install and all necessary wiring kits
Vinyl wrap to re do front bumper
2 x Brand new front wings to be painted and fitted

18" 3 Piece splits for show season, as well as all necessary fittings ie spigots, bolts, new split rim bolts/nuts, lips have been polished, centres to be powder coated , 90 degree bent valves and 4 x 215 35 18 Rainsport 3 tyres

Last but not least.. I have purchased a PD170 Xman Hybrid turbo for a little more power

Thanks buddy, Max BHP will be 250bhp with the GTB1756 as Xman turbos who built it rated it to be safe at that power.



Bought a new interior now for the car, New Recaro front seats and on the look out for rear seats to match, or have my rear seats trimmed to match the new front one, This means my FR550 Front seats and possibly back ones will be up for sale in the next few week, and im sure everyone will know how "rare" these seats are on the market

As for the seats im not sure on a price, they dont come up often so may end up putting them on Ebay or facebook and see what sort of prices people are willing to pay for them, had a few offers already over £600 for them so i would assume they go for strong money.

Got my new wheels powdercoated, rebuilt and sealed, wrapped with 215/35/18 Uniroyal Rainsport 3's however one of the wheels has a slow leak so need to remove the tyre to get it resealed! quick picture for the time being.
Need to get the car into a body shop to have some bits and bobs done for Ultimate Dubs in march including BTCC side skirts and new front wings.

Traveled to Ultimate Dubs this weekend, and 2 days before leaving my Viair compressors both destroyed piston rings leaving me not being able to fill my tank and resulting in a tyre compressor being used to get me the 280 mile trip to Telford where i picked up 400c Dual comps from the OCD guys at the show on Saturday evening and fitted them in the multistory car park before moving the car into the parking at the International centre. Also on the way down i managed to crack 2 inner barrels on the Autostradas which resulted in 2 flat tyres within an hour max.

Didnt manage to get everything done to the car that i wanted done, and still have a list full of things to do such as fit shorter rear struts, fit by BTCC side skirts etc.

Due to my new Recaros being heated.. I figured why not actually make them work and retrofit heated seats into the car, so now the seats have the elements etc all i needed was the dash switches, and the looms, still looking for looms or even just the plugs to make up my own loom, but i do have the control module with heated seat switches!

Thinking of selling the Hybrid Turbo in all honesty, its sitting on my parts shed doing nothing, and i have no plans in the near future to fit it.

Hey Gabs, yeah not too bad, yourself? the 2 compressors that came with the kit blew their piston rings meaning they wouldnt compress air and have scored the cylinders so ended up buying 2 new 400c dual comps while at UD from OnlyChargedDubs, so much faster than the dual 380c ones.
