1.4s oil sump pan

I have searched for these on eBay and it always comes up as 1.9tdi...

Are these the same?

Basically I've been told I need a new sump pan for my 1.4 s but have been quoted 120 from Andrew page but told I can get them for 30-40?

Can anyone help out?

I had to buy a new sump the other year for my Cupra TDI. Like you, it was a 3 figure some from the dealer or one could be had for around ~£40 from GSF. There was an issue with the cheaper one when we came to fit it as it didn't have the holes required for the oil sensor, although it's quite obvious where these would be. I had the cheaper one drilled & tapped for the oil sensor and all was well with the world.

So in short, you might have the above issue. Doesn't help with your question, but just thought I'd point that out anyway! Possibly best to check whether you have an oil sensor.
