I currently own a 2005 Seat Leon FR (150), been mapped to 185bhp (meant to be a eco map), however, sometimes I only get 30mpg around town.

Just wondering what the rest of yous get?

I don't really bother looking anymore, although last time I did the average was 45.
This is an almost equal mix of motorway and town and I'm not remapped.
How have I gone 9 years without doing that is beyond me.

I'm averaging a calculated 36.76 mpg over 2618 miles when I last filled up.

my car sometimes wants to be good (very rarely) and I can get like 40 but soon as I stop for more than a minute/go back on the turbo it shoots down. Other times its 30-35mpg

it's cold at the moment, engine will take ages to warm up properly, especially driving round town, and in all fairness to get a semi accurate reading you should use a gallon of fuel to read MPG

Ye I suppose, was just curious to see if everyone else has the same MPG as me, I'm happy with 30+ MPG anyway if I'm honest.

I normally just calculate it out from how many miles I get to a tank which seems to be fairly accurate too.
Ye Matt, I learned my lesson with that, gauge said I had 100 miles, drove 50 and it said in only had 5 - that activated panic mode lol

Own fault really as I shouldn't leave it to go that low on diesel
