Just picked up my new Cupra 290 from the dealer this morning. Am completely in love with it already! New wheels on the 290 and the different exhaust system are amazing and so much nicer than the one I test drove a few months ago. Managed to reisist and drive all the way to the end of the road before putting it into Cupra mode!

How long did it take between ordering and delivery for you? Is the sport information display standard?

I ordered it end of Jan so around 9 weeks from order to delivery - The fact that mine was manual and no options may have sped things up a bit. The sports info is another option in the car menu from the display.

That was quick! I was quoted 18 weeks! I went for manual as well. I think one of the dealers mentioned that the alloy wheels you've got added time on for build but it does't seem to have affected you too badly.

The 280 I drove for the test drive had the multi spoke alloys on it so never saw the standard wheels on a car. Dealer seemed to think that these were darker than they used to be but this may not be the case.

Them's the stock wheels, demo car must have had the optional ones on. Can't quite see what rubber they have on... Pirelli somethings?

And the fastest color too... good choice ;)

Yep correct on the wheels - hadn't actually seen them until I picked it up on Sat. Pirelli P Zero tyres.

Looks like they changing the brands of tires again - Hopefully they are better than the bridgestones that were stock a while ago. Go enjoy the car :D

Mines a 64plate 280 and that came with the p zeros, they lasted about 14000 miles.
