B pillar ticking/clicking

I have noticed clicking / ticking noise from both sides. Appears when it is sunny and the plastic outside the door gets warmed up. Have a feeling that during the ride (even on smooth road) it cools and causes the sounds
Any cure for it?

I spent the best part of TWO YEARS locating the clicking in the driver A pillar..... turned out to be the fekkin keys dancing in the lock, due to all the crap on the keyring.

Took it to two dealers, who of course couldnt find anything wrong - because they only take the KEY off the ring !

Have noticed something similar on my 15 plate FR 184 TDI. Only noticed it on the drivers side. Only a slight clicking sound as you describe. I was putting it down to something with the seat belt housing? Didn't think about the outside of the car causing the issue. Will be watching this thread with interest. Already had the near side rear light cluster replaced under warranty due to water ingress.

Try greasing the lock mechanism, door and pin on pillar.
If it dries out it rattles and the noise gets amplified by the hollow pillar.
