I have dealt with Fife SEAT in Glenrothes and although I didnt buy from them in the end the sales guy was really good and did work hard to put together a good deal but couldnt match the online brokers deals at the time.

I use them for all my servicing/warranty work on my Leon Cupra and my previous Mk2 Leon Cupra (think this is the longest I have stayed with the same dealer).

Ingram SEAT in Kilmarnock - got mine there through CARWow. A few Wee problems that could have happened anywhere which were sorted very quickly and without fuss.

I dealt with Fife seat, bought my car from them and i found them to be really good as well. My sister bought a car from john-clark seat in dundee who she found to be good to. John clark in aberdeen was a different matter, the salesman just couldn't be bothered, unless i was serious about buying a car : / didn't understand the approach there , gave me some noncompetitive figures - basically the rrp and gave some misinformation on what was in each spec.

Avoid Aberdeen they are absolutely terrible. I'll be driving 100 miles to Dundee when mines next needs a service.

I use John Clark Dundee and can thoroughly recommend them, very professional and helpful with my servicing and warranty work. I have dealt with Arlene at service department but I'm sure other service advisors are just as good and efficient as her.

+1 for Fife Seat. Non pushy experienced sales guys. Service department have been great with a few teething problems on car. Probably not the cheapest as they're an independent dealer.

I've also dealt with Morrisons SEAT in Stirling and found them helpful.

Does anyone know how fife seat are on modded cars going in for unrelated warranty/servicing?

I'm running stage 1 with a few other mods, I've heard they're a good dealership when it comes to it, any experience anyone?

Another happy FIFE SEAT customer, moved to them after my dealer that I used since 1996 closed down (Rutherfords of Earlston) and they suggested FIFE, also family owned and treat you like a valued customer and were also well rated (top 10) for cust service in SEAT's own survey of all UK dealers. Just had my third service last week and no faults found in MOT, free AA International cover for another year, all for £198 too.

Just to add to the experiences of others, I live in Aberdeen so this is by far the eaiest one to get to, but I'm sad to say that they are still no better than others from a year or two ago have described. I've been a few times to look and chat to the reps there but they seem totally disinterested, and most of my questions were met with vague answers that indicated they didn't actually know the answer (which is fine, I've worked retail before and nobody knows everything) but they didn't even attempt to try find the right answer instead deciding to make something up and hope I wouldn't notice. And when it did come to getting quotes they weren't at all competitive and they never called/emailed back when they said. To give some credit I did have one good experience, I was in their lot just looking and was actually approached by a rep from the Skoda dealership next door who honestly seemed more knowledgable and was more helpful than any of the Seat reps I'd spoken to so far, but of course it came to a point where he needed to pass me on to one of the Seat reps and it went down hill from there.

So now the positive. I knew I wanted to stay with Seat, so after one too many bad experiences with Aberdeen I decided I'd have to look elsewhere, ended up in Dundee as it's not too much of a trek out the way and Steven Roger from Specialist Cars Seat has been an absolute champ, more than happy to go over everything with you, takes his time and even let me drive off with an Ateca for the whole day just to try it out! (I was on the fence at that point if I wanted an Ateca or Leon) And he's really tried to get the best deal that he can manage as far as main dealers go, so I've been really happy with them so far. I've not received the car yet so there's still a chance for things to go wrong, but based on my dealings with them so far, and what others have said above I'm confident that they'll do everything they can to make it go smoothly.
