Hi,

I fitted a set of these on to my car, it seems that they are rubbing slightly on the arch lining. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Or is it a case of fitting 17's.

Thanks.

I did think that, I'm going to sell them and purchase a set of 17's. Don't want to remove the arch lining or have low profile tyres.

Thanks.

I nearly made the same mistake, having had the chance to try some 17" Cupra alloys I went with them and have no clearance issues even with the car lowered slightly.

Question is I have now got two sets of cupra alloys...one set has 40 profile tyres and the other 45!
Which "profile" is correct to ensure the speedo is working correctly?

Or will it matter???

Cheers,

Standard they run a 205/45/17 I believe. Remember profile is related to the tyre width so if you go 215 45 17 that's a bigger profile size than a 205 45 17.
