The way I look at it if it was a second hand car you wouldn't have a warranty anyway it's just a risk you take, so the fact it's a new car doesn't bother me haha

If you're just talking about a panel filter then I highly doubt you'll see any form of performance or noise benefits.

UPDATE:

My pride and joy is with Forge Motorsport for development creating an induction kit (potentially a DV too, if they have enough time) as we speak!

Car is coming back tomorrow, but nay not receive the finished product for a week or two as if they decide to use silicon hoses they may have to be custom made, if they use hardpipe it'll be fitted straight away.

Will let you know the results either way

I have a k&N filter and when the engine is cold, the sound is definitely more prominent

Hi guys, still searching for a cold air intake!!
I bought the carbon intake from forge and was very disappointed with it as it didn’t even fit. I’m positive you have to buy their 1.4 TSI dump valve to actually fit it. Anyone find anything yet?
