Tyre Reccomendations

Hey Guys,
Got 19" wheels on my Leon Cupra AUQ, and need a tyre recommendation
AUQ - Stage 2 230bhp/280ftlb

Currently have Falken FK453 235/35/19 and they keep slipping in second and occasionally in 3rd. even in the dry warm weather we've been having.

I'll be going for 245/35's next time as IMO 235 is too narrow for the wheel.
Budget is £100 a tyre fitted

Eyeing up Kuhmo KU39's at the moment. what do you guys reckon?

I personally run
Falkens but I've had khumo in the past which Wasn't too bad depend if your after performance or tread wear

performance really, I just want to be able to put the power down in the dry. don't mind just taking it easy in the wet.

Hi ,

I tend to use Uniroyals these days ,almost as good as goodyear,michelin and pirelli but half the price !

I use 235 40 18s on standard LCR wheels 71 quid a tyre .

Cheapest I can see 235 40 19s is 104. no 245s in stock atm.

I've used Uniroyal on my past few cars and can't fault them, good wear and fantastic grip from the Rainsports.

found rainsports for £106 fitted in 245/35/19 flavour... might be a good shout
