Hello Everyone, welcome.

Since watching Seat & Renault battle it out for lap times round the ring, The MK3 Cupra 3dr was on my list of possible next car. Once the SportsTourer came to light I instantly fell in love.
After a year of see saw thinking I finally placed my order on Dec 24th as a Christmas present to myself.
Seat Leon ST Cupra 290 - Black, DSG, 19" Multi spoke, Winter pack, Seat Sound. & A cheeky extra i found that would make the car.[B)]

Perfect Vehicle for travelling to & from the European mountains. With that in mind I planed to use it for the Snowbombing road trip.
With build delays lingering getting the car in time for April 1st was very close to not happening

After pushing Seat, delivery to dealership was made on march 31st. & my dealership pulled out all the stops to have it ready by 1pm on the 1st. So BIG THANK YOU to Lee, Dave, Josh & Sam the technician @ Lifestyle SEAT Brighton that worked over night.

With one day before I depart for a road trip to Austria finally had the keys in my hand, a smile like a cheshire cat, 9 miles on the clock & Beautiful Friday afternoon to accumulate 130miles to help run the engine in before heading to Europe.

Pressed plates are on [B)]

Very impressed with the car its an absolute dream to drive. & with the driver profile system, going from Comfort to Cupra really jumps in to life.

Snowbombing Road Trip 2016

The following day was the moment id been waiting 3months for with the Thule roof bars & Dynamic M Box on the car all packed we where Austria bound.

[/URL]

800 miles & autobahns ahead

Once i'd reached Germany the 290 really stared to show its colours.
The gentleman agreement speed limiter....... lets just say its not there. hassling RS6's became a regular occurrence.

Amazed by the amount of luggage the boot can take.

Have had a few issues with full link.

But 2 Weeks & 2000 miles in, I still have the same Cheshire cat smile.
Bravo SEAT.

Hey Josh. Are you still loving the Cupra ST. I'm on the cusp of pulling the trigger. Any regrets or things you'd do differently?

Hi Mate

2 Months in now. Can honestly say very happy with it, Still smile every time I open the front door & see it.

New Panel Filter mate it a bit more fun, not overly loud.

still having a couple of issues with Full Link - but when it works its awesome.

Only thing id change from factory is performance brakes package.

Hi

Saw this thread prior to heading off to the dealership to have a nose around.

Only gone & ordered one

Was going for the hatchback 5 door, but pulled the trigger on the estate, hope I have made the right choice.

Exhaust...how does it sound? Was torn as the hatchback had its exhaust revised & sounds fantastic (subjective of course) but was a much needed improvement on the 280. Worried the estate might sound characterless like my current golf r does.
