Wax on screen

I have a problem with the screen on my Leon, it appears it still has some wax left on it, tried thinners and a scotchbrite pad, vinegar, clayed and nothing is touching it. Had the car two months and this weekend is the first time I driven it in the rain, it is crystal clear until you use the wipers. You can see the remains of a number written on it so I assume its from the factory.

Would rather do it myself than have to make a trek back to the dealers

Any suggestions

Use glass cutter, I use the halfords stuff but they don't seem to stock it any more

Ended up using something similar this morning, I posted on a detailing site as well, and was advised to carefully use metal polish on an applicator pad.

Bit of a squeaky bum doing it but it worked, cleaned screen, applied Autosol on a pad very light pressure, cleaned and wiped off with panel wipe, repeated a couple of times and I now have a no haze or smearing when wet:):)
