Put an induction kit on it this morning. Sounds good but little worried about heat. Must runs some sort of extra pipe to it at the weekend.also I deleted the n249 valve the other day as vag-com came up as intermittently fault from time to time. Did it the "ghetto" way till I get ma ass to Kettering

Wicked result today!! My car runs like a camp now. 11psi all the way up. Zero errors in vag-com. Rough idle was a bad maf and bad air filter. I already brought a new maf so was a right result being the filter. BTW filter looked like new.

Fitted my Ramair Induction Kit today and heat shield, nice little kit and fitted in no time at all....well pleased. :funk:

She sounds so much nicer for it as well and will take her for a proper spin later, while I was at it I also shoved in a new pollen filter as it was there......[B)]

Fitted a pollen filter this morning "old one looked like it had rain water one for at least the past year". Not good as when they fitted it last time they did a crap job. Ordered boost gauge and dash board pod and £38 for a stock dv from vag has to be OK.

I drove the kids to school and wouldn't let the school parking attendant touch my door to get the kids out. Only special people are allowed to touch my Cupra :D I then drove to work and nothing else exciting happened :(

They aren't as deep as the standard ones, and fill ensure there isn't any gap that allot of cars on the MK4 platform suffer from.

It's stopped any knocking I have on the front end.

Ah! My top caps are standing proud after fitting 35mm lowering springs this weekend. Is that why you changed yours to get rid of the gap?

Think that might be my next purchase then!
