Air con problem

Hi folks...

Went to turn air con on the other day, so pressed the econ button but the light would not go off ? And no air con blower came on....

Does it need a re gas or is there something else not working....

Thanks for any advice..

The fact that the blower isn't coming on doesn't suggest a re-gassing requirement to me. The gas cools the air, so loss of gas wouldn't stop the blower, it would just mean that it would blow air at ambient temperature (i.e., not cooled).
No blower suggests to me either an electrical or mechanical issue?
