Somewhere up north
Just been looking at the map of the Paris Motor show 2016. Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda are all in the same pavilion, but Seat have got a tiny amount of floor space. 1/4 of Skoda's and 1/5 of Audi or VW. I wonder if that means they haven't got a lot of new cars to show.

It generally means that VAG still don't care about Seat.

Here is a extract from the VAG HY Financial Report;

First number is 2016 sales, second is 2015 sales for the same period, and last is change.

I guess this is reflected in pavilion space. Although one can argue that if they invest more in the brand they will earn more from it.

I guess the Golf R lease deals for £200 a month really boosted VW up there :p

I've just been to my local seat dealer looking for cupras they didn't have any , I asked them if they knew anything about the new face lift, his answer was the face lift is the 290.

I found another guy, he was as puzzled as the first guy, but after a few minutes of taping at his computer he came back with the date of April 2017, I don't know if that's true or he just picked that date as it'll be when 17 plates are new

The Golf is also supposed to get a face lift. I wonder if they don't want to announce both together.

Facelift reveal is supposedly postponed to January (someone said that in the facelift thread). I guess Seat won't show much besides the Ateca Xp.

all i could find on leon sofar

09.50: Speaking about SEAT’s 2017 plans Luca de Meo, the firm’s president, said: “the Leon, the Ibiza and the new Arona, together with the Ateca, are going to strengthen SEAT from a commercial, financial and brand image standpoint. 2017 is going to be a very special year for SEAT.”

09.10: SEAT has revealed details of what it calls the ‘biggest product offensive in its history’. Over the course of 2017, the firm will update the Leon and launch the fifth generation Ibiza. SEAT is also launching its first crossover, the SEAT Arona.

More than extremely disappointing that there is still no information whatsoever about the specifications or release dates for the facelifted SEAT Leon. SEAT have certainly loaded up their stands at the Paris Motor Show with an impressive range of multimedia and interactive displays, but apart from exhibiting the Ateca in detail and naming the future smaller Ibiza-based SUV as the Arona, there doesn't seem to be much updated information to help me as a possible returning SEAT Leon customer! I certainly have no intention of ordering another new SEAT Leon unless it is the facelifted version! If this information continues to dissipate into rumours and disappear over the horizon, I may very reluctantly need to consider purchasing an alternative vehicle!

Initially I was very interested in the Ateca, but sadly this is definitely not an option, because of the lack of suitable petrol DSG variants in the UK.

I'm in the same boat. Waiting on info before ordering.
