I ordered a Cupra with Broker4cars first week in August and they have told me nothing except to call them back w/b 21st November for an update. They have refused to give me an order number. I called Seat CS last night and they have no information under my name nor anything for Seat Leicester where the car will allegedly be coming in to. I know that B4C put their orders through some sort of parent organisation that draws in alot of orders nationally, which then allows bulk orders to Seat, hence bigger discounts. Could it be that the order is in a different name or should I be worrying that no order has been placed?

I'm assuming that you have a build week of 48 then. Seat cannot confirm if your unconfirmed build week is confirmed until 1 week before the unconfirmed build week...keeping up?!
Central UK Vehicle Leasing didn't give me the order number at first, but I just said that I'd phone up every morning for an update until I got some info as to what was going on. They soon gave me the order number. Seat UK aren't allowed to give you anything other than the car build progression - they can't tell you which dealership was used.

If anyone is signing docs and having their car delivered, remember one crucial fact...you can't take delivery of the car until the 14 day cooling-off period has expired. The paperwork is supposed to be sent out by the dealers when the car is being shipped so that the 14-days expires when the car is registered and the PDI has been carried out, therefore causing no delays. If, as has happened with me, that doesn't happen...then you have a car sitting at a dealership that can't be delivered, because legalities!

I could collect, but York is quite literally the opposite end to the country for me.

At least DM Keiths are now trailering the car down instead of driving it down as they do with all the lease cars.

One more week to wait.......

Go and get it! I did Teesside to arsenal at the weekend just for a match never mind a car. My mate got his m135i from Heathrow!

Thanks for the info Evoke1xt. So being stupid, week 48 means first week in December or do we take into consideration the fact that the factory closes in August?

So won't be getting mine today. They rang to say that there's an issue with registering new cars so they can't tax it. Will have to sort paperwork to manually register it tomorrow. Not happy

I would, but a just haven't got the time or the holiday left to do it. What's more annoying (in a way) is that I'll be able to drive it from Wed-Sunday and then I give it to my mate for 2-3 days for him to do a full new car detail.

Stupid question but I imagine you checked it in the right conditions? Ie cold engine, flat surface?

yes and yes, checked it when it was warm earlier and then checked it 4 hours after, exactly the same, and my driveway is as flat as it could be, could it just be because it has to wear in? done 700 miles, just thought it would of at least lost a little bit after hearing stories of people having to fill theirs up quite abit after 500 miles..

Anymore deals?

I've been searching for a Cupra lease deal for some time and I've been in a dealer who has advised that they aren't taking anymore orders on the cupra due to the face lifted 2017 model!! Wounded to say the least! Is he talking nonsense or has anyone heard anything similar??

Yeah lots of people have mentioned cupras no longer being available, I was lucky to get my FR Titanium since they said they're not making those in bulk anymore either
