Hello Ladies & Gentleman , I would like to ask people and eventually make a list of phones that do work properly with Android Auto via Full link. I'm particularly interested If there's anyone using it with Chinese manufactured phones that are growing in popularity like Xiaomi, Elephone, Meizu, Huawei
I love it especially with Google music as I can ask now to play whatever music I'm in mood for simply by holding the button and saying : "Play Metallica" for example so I wouldn't like to lose it with a new phone :)
I have tried 3 phones that I have at home:

HTC ONE M7 - works perfectly
HTC ONE M8 - works only on original firmware / didn't worked on any modified one
HUAWEI MATE S - phone is not compatible with Android Auto / app is telling that - not even launching pass settings

We can compile a list :)

Huawei P9 does not work - although apparently the latest phone update (EMUI 4.11, that i dont have yet) does work.

Update: after putting the latest update on my P9 (B180) - Android auto works fine.

Hmm, my Samsung S6 Edge only works intermittently some days no matter what I do I can't get it to run, just tells me connection failed. When it works it's fine though.

Technically any phone that meets the requirements of AA should work (ie: it has the correct android version)

As long as you can run the app on the phone you will be able to use it in the car, though obviously the experience will depend on the specs of your phone, projecting it to the screen is very CPU intensive.

HTC One M8 worked OK - best on latest Android update Marshmallow but slightly slow to load
HTC 10 works perfectly using USB C cable and lightning fast
