DSG Paddle Extensions

Just wondering if anyone has purchased anything like this for there DSG leon. I use the paddles quite a lot but tend to find they are a bit on the small side, so was considering purchasing something like this. What does everyone think or have people already have them fitted.

Do a search for paddle under this forum. There's already a thread about Someone has tried paddle extensions before and they were not up to the task. You'll see the the thread. Not sure if they are the same ones you have shown. But I believe the sticky pads come away too easily.

How Expensive are we talking, where are they from?

i find it hard to believe there isnt a cheaper alternative that doesnt use double sided sticky tape by now too

Wow they are pricey! Way off the budget I was thinking of haha I'll message the seller you suggested i'm near to them and possibly could try them before I buy

that jewells place does a few options, if i was gonna buy some id go for the shorter stockier aluminium ones, less chance of coming off as you change gear due to forces applied and all that. Black ally looks nice but then so does the red and black.

I've just sent him a message to see if i could go look at them. Yes that is the ones I would be going for. Thanks for all the advice

I looked into this just the other week and offered my own car for testing. However the place I contacted said that they were already aware the Mk 3 had slightly different paddles to the Audi and VW's and that molds have been made so should be available in the next few weeks.

In fact it's the place GrahamFR is talking about if he's referring to eBay. (Can't remember rules on mentioning non sponsored companies)

Ok I have seen previous threads that have mentioned they VW paddle extensions don't fit properly, This is why I am going to try and see the extensions before I by as the person on ebay is just round the corner from me

Oldham by any chance? If it is that fella, then he's hopefully got it in hand I'd rather wait for the new ones than fit the Audi ones that 'almost do'.

I know its been a while but did you have any luck with these paddle extensions?

I've a 290 Cupra and am looking for paddles that work.

I'm unable to find any that are suited for my Bocanegra, I am unsure whether the paddles for Leon's are the same as mine. Can anyone advise?

There are some on amazon that look identical to those that were on eBay, will order some and let you guys know if they fit.

EDIT: They do actually look slightly different, I'll wait till the eBay seller is back too!
