Locking beeps...

Has anyone managed to get locking beeps working on a 290? (Or 2016 I assume???). I've tried everything and followed all the guides out there but it's not happening and I can't find the option on the stereo. Car -> Settings -> opening and closing.

Please help, it's the only thing I actually wanted activating on my car!

Got mine working on a FR using obdeleven.
Didn't use the apps though. It then puts it into the menu in the car and you can then deactivate/activate the function.

How new is your car?

I wonder if it's a thing with the new stereos that it won't put it into the menu.

It's a '66 plate built in mid October this year.

Might have to buy obd eleven then cos genuine vcds won't do it!

Thats what I had to do, the genuine vcds is useless on 2016 cars unless your very fluent in German

Yeah it's not ideal but I found the things you're meant to activate to get it working but it just won't put it in the menu on the car
