brought new car - leon cupra - few things to ask

Hi all

have just picked up my new car, mk2 leon cupra

few things

the rear window demister doesn't work
the passenger door won't open from the outside

anyone got any ideas how to sort?

Passenger door is more than likely the locking module.

I had the same issue with mine and got it replaced under warranty with the dealer.

Demister could be a fuse, switch etc...

A scan on VCDS will tell you whats up with everything

If you got it from a dealer, first thing would be to take it back to them.

Door module/latch is a common problem with VAG cars. You can replace the part yourself, it's not that difficult and cost is around £130 for a new latch/module. Fitting the card back is "fun" if it's electric windows, the door card design/window mechanism was designed by someone mentally ill and high on meth.

Rear demister could be a fuse, bad wire etc.. when you press the demister button, do you hear a soft click (relay)?
