Hello my name is Hakan, i am a 25 year old man living in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I am a real car guy that put loads of time and love into the cars i own(ed). Car is life and makes me happy. I will write a little bit about myself en the cars i owned in the last 2 years. My english grammar is not that good so please forgive me.

I used to be a bmw guy, restored a E36 328i cabrio (manual) with M50 intake (230hp) putted 10 months of very hard work into it. The whole car was taken apart and everything was refreshed and replaced by new parts. When i was finished i could only enjoy is in finished state for 2 weeks.. then some guy was not paying attention and crashed in to me when my car was parked:( i was a gorgeous E36 cabrio with a very rare violet/lila individual interiour, with vader headrest. It was a beast of a car. Here is a picture of it:

After the BMW i bought my first Seat, it was a MK1 Leon 1.8 20vt. I adjusted the look of the car to my liking and i really felt in love with the 20vt engine. So much souplesse and torque. I could flip it really easy and make 1000 profit so the choise was easy after 1.5 months.

Then i bought another E36 328i coupe also manual, but i could never match (not even close) to my old cabrio i used to own and i find that it was not that quick either compared to my other E36 so after a week i sold it and bought myself a Seat ibiza 6k2 Cupra 1.8 20vt.

It felt quick when i had made a testdrive, but when i had it after 1/2 weeks al kinds of problems start to act up, really alot of problems, so much lying about maintainace, paperwork and alot of ghetto fixes. I will tel you guys more about that later on. Also i will update a speclist for you guys. Here is a pic of my Ibiza Cupra:

So this was the intro to introduce myself and my Ibiza i will post the work on my car and the present state later on. Hope the is enough interrest for it!

Oke i will start at the beginning, i will try my best to explain everything in good english.

When i bought the car the engine bay looked like this.. the N112 and N249 mod haven't been done yet. Alot of bad vacuum tube's. Alot of those vacuum tube's where 2mm going over in 4mm and back into 2mm. One tube pressed into another... My dumpvalve was hanging from a TYRAP! Right above my turbo... also the tube that goes to the dumpvalve was in more then 90 degree bend or kinked (don't know the exact word for it) you can also see the very small vacuum tube going over into a bigger tube.. (the very small tube that you can see on top of my intercooler tube's and hose. i believe it was a 2mm. And it was also kinked/bended so tight it could hardly breathe.. so this "build" setup was really ****ed up.

But that was not the only problem. The car had steering problems, in some easy corners on the freeway the car would automatic steer some extra into the corner and sometimes less, when i was not even turning my steering wheel. After 2/3 weeks my car started to misfire sometimes around 4000/6500 RPM, it sweated oil, it smelled very badly after gasoline when i start the car cold, it smelled like oil when i was going for a sprint. The front brake pads where almost completely gone. The exhaust was leaking some air. And alot of extra small problems. (Like no car horn, passenger window not going up from my side ect ect) Also i could not give half throttle or the car was going into emergency running, and could not exeed 0 bar. The same for when i drove on the freeway full boost then let go of the throttle a little bit and to press full throttle again.. the car would shoot into emergency running and again will not exeed 0bar of turbo pressure.

So then i began.. giving the car the Hakan's touch. First new brakes, Brembo discs, and pads. Front and back. Then making my car horn work.. next step was going to a guy to relocate and rebuild all the vacuum tubes and to do the N112 and N249 mod. This was the result:

After this the car was so more reliable, going into emergency running was decreased by 50%!! The dumpvalve is now connected in a good way with some nice blue silicone tube, also the other one that was so tight and only 2mm replaced by the same sort of silicone tube. Also i looked way better then before.

Okey that was the first step i took, then i wanted to fix this car up, en prep it for future plans, going hybride:whistle:

I let the car be checked all over, every single bolt, every single piece of the car. Conclusion i was driving in a death trap.. my left front wheel hub was loose, my right wheel bolts where not tightend.. i noticed some weird steering and some loose control but i dit not thought i would be this big. Then we saw that my right supportarm was missing the vertical bolt.. this was totaly crazy:confused: we checked everything and saw some more problems, leaking radiator, 2 dead engine mounts, one engine mount has 2 bolts to hold it together the engine side and the gearbix side, there was not even a bolt in the gearbix side.

So i thought is the car worth it to fix it up? Yes cause it has alot of potential. Later one we noticed, over boost and power loss, the Cupra was faster half throttle dan with full throttle. So a dying fuel pump and when i replaced the fuelpump the car started to misfire in top RPM so the coils where dying also..

A little setback today as my startermotor broke today. So that will be replaced also on 2 january with the distribution timing set ect. So another fresh part on the cupra. I really love to fix this car up as it is almost techniqually in perfect state. I still need a Silicone TIP and a 3inch downpipe. For better spolling and more air for the turbo, i will also gain the last HP i can with those 2 mods so my setup for the K03s is then really maxxed out running 260HP and around 390/400NM!

Couple days ago with a friend of mine with a fully stock ibiza cupra (156HP & 210NM)

That looks smart, I hate ghetto fixes , that's why I stick with one car because after one year you will know that car inside out and it will be perfect

So yesterday i got to the garage, first to fix my "broken" startermotor, we found out it was nog broken but the cable was not connected, this was happening because the startermotor was not installed in the right way. It was missing one bold.. another thing by the previous owner... so we fixed it in the way it should be.

Then we did the distributionset, with al the parts like waterpump, again refreshed all the cooling liquid. And the car is going strong again! With all the maintainace i did this last couple of months i can say that i have a very good car in excelent condition now. Everything is replaced that had to be replaced and every other piece is already tackled. So i can drive my car safe and i hope without problems for the next months/year. Offcourse the oil change and filters ect.

Nice spec mate, do you plan on doing anymore with it?

I dont know yet, i really wanted to go hybride 280/300HP but when i check youtube video's of other cars i see they running times of 9.6/13 seconds from 100/200. I run 100/200 in 10.1 second with no lift shift from 3/4. I think it is not worth it to spend an extra 2/3k for that half a second.

I now got "240HP 360NM" but i dont believe that i think i got more, when i bought the car everything was ghetto fixed and alot of bad parts like coils, spark plugs, fuelpump, and the whole vacuum setup, bad installed dumpvalve and alot of ****ed up hoses. So i think im running more but offcorse not more the 260HP maybe something like 270/280NM, cause thats +/- the max for a K03s Hp wise. I do want to get another front bumper so that the car will look nice again.

I have not timed my 0/100 time as its just to cold for that, i could not full boost, when i reacht 3th gear or 100kmh i can get my grips with these temperatures. (Now on winter tires offcourse)

Do you not have a recirc DV in? Have you mapped out the AFM and only use MAP sensor?

No i got a dumpvalve and my air flow meter is not mapped out. That is a trick that some tuners use, also cause the air flow meters wil break alot on the 20vt engines. But the tuner who made the custom chip (van drie tuning) does not map out the air flow meter.

My dumpvalve also makes a very nice sound, with low boost/pressure is stutters stuu stuu stu, and with boost/high pressure is dumps the air in 1 time

Painted my wiechers struttbar red. Looks good is already installed on the car. But did not like the look of the (still) yellow engine bay with a red struttbar. Think it looks like a mac donalds mix haha. So i will be painting my engine bay black. Making the combo of red struttbar and red R8 coils look nice again:

Had a busy day today, visiting family, and getting nice upgrades for my ibiza. Freshly painted my brakes in red again! Its really a improvent cause the old red was really faded and coming loose.

Then the final missing piece for my car, a Turbo Intake Pipe (TIP) its from autobahn88! And it feels really big in your hand. Buyed it second hand but im so happy with it. Cause here they dont have all tips stock can take up to 3 weeks or longer :(

It was a great day, im really happy and i will try to get the TIP installed right away when i find the time. When i was driving i saw a VW Golf Mk5 GTI and MK7 GTI playing witch each other. I moved in straight away and teached them a lesson haha. People are always suprised by how fast the car is. They never think that it is fast cause of the looks. Its not shiny, looks not fast. Got a thumps up!

Also couple days back i was riding on the freeway when a BMW X6 M50D was tailgating me. Teached him a lesson also. When i checked my speedomometer i saw i was going over 250kmh, so i let go off the throttle. Did not even had to shift back to 4th or even 3th gear to be quicker.

So alot has happend since the last time i updated here damn. Where must i begin.. first the Autobahn88 TIP is installed, i also bought a Apple Candy Red Valvue cover. Installed that also, offcourse with new Valve cover gasket even tho it was only 3 months old. I cant stand it to not replace something when it has to come off.

I also orderded new paint! The car wil have a respray in another matte color. I also fixed some rubbers on my support arms so now all rubbers under the car have been replaced in the last months. And i bought another fresh front bumper. So this ricer front bumper can finaly go thank god. And i almost forgot i tinted my headlights.

Also currently the car is mapped on euro98 from BP, but since yesterday im adding 4,5liter Bio Methanol. That is 10% of the car tank. With this i will get 10HP and 10NM extra. Got 2 dynosheets from a mate who had almost the same engine setup as me. Also my engine is so fresh inside and with al the performance upgrades. So i know the results would be the same.

Euro98 from BP with 4,5 liter bio methanol will bring the octane to 102/105 so that is very high. Have not done any pulls yesterday cause of the rain but i will maybe see today if i can notice a difference. What i did notice is that the car feels more direct om the throttle. So we will see got alot of pulls recorded before and after some mods, such as before and after the TIP also when i got the car in the beginning until now. I love to see improvement cause a car can feel quicker but it can be slower so i love to record. I know for example from 60/160 kmh only take 6.5 seconde for me now.

So checked the difference with and without bio ethanol. The difference is also noticable on video. Doing a 100-200 pull takes 10.0/10.1 seconds, that is the same as i was doing with a stripped interiour. With no spare tire and tools, no backseat, no back speakers and panels.

So its nice to see a difference cause feelings can be wrong. Still waiting to paint my car and make my new front bumper to fit my car. This car is a absolute beast on the road. Very quick.

Also timed my times but i did nog launched or even something like that. I just rolled off the line and started to floor it when i reached 30kmh so the times can be alot quicker. And the run was without using no lift shift.

0-100 5,5 seconds
0-170 12.2 seconds
0-200 15.8 seconds

I did not test the top speed. And it can be alot quicker also i post the video down below. Thats the 0-170 time. I think if i pull away sporty or even with launch control i would def be under 5 seconds to 100, in the 11s to 170 and maybe high 14s to 200 but i think thats abit to much think it will be around 15.0
