So are the Cupra paddles different from the mk7 golf paddles? There was a guy selling some decent ones which were stuck and held with grub screws over on the VWR forum.

I'd really like to do something about the paddles. They feel like they're made from cut up plastic cups. Absolute rubbish.

Dw911, excellent link - I have short fingers and have trouble reaching paddles if holding wheel around the bulge on the rim - these finger extensions should be perfect!

I bought the £20 ones of eBay pictured in the first post for my DSG and they are great, I have just bought another set for the Leon. I am little concerned how hard people are pulling on them to make the sticky pads come away! :)

Can anyone summarize what's **** and what's not?
Do you have to get the 3M tacky?
Look at these at Ebay: Carbon-Fibre-Paddle-Shift-Gear-Extensions-up-for-VW-DSG-Golf-MK-7-VII-GTD-R-TSI-/371795857443?hash=item5690c29023:g:xPMAAOSwiONYNDHr

10£ Shipped.

Is there anything a bit more expensive but nicer? These look like ass.

Are the ones I got for the Octy, available for most VAG cars. They are great, cannot understand why anyone would pay more. £20

I went for these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172272767337
They fit well.

A bit pricey at £35, but I knew they would fit and didn't want the hassle of sending others that didn't back and forth.

I got the same from ebay and fitted easily - No issues at all.[B)]

Should i get black or silver? The carbon fiber ones look like plastic trash.
These metal ones look good tho a bit more pricey :)

Black blends in more tho the silver might fit the wheel silver parts better.

It looks like the 3M tape they use is fake because it technically says M3 in the photos and the logo and font look wrong. This may be why people complain about DSG extensions falling off, they probably bought the cheap version.

Good spottet.
However, I have a bunch of 3M tapes laying around from camera gear. I can cut from that if needed.
Will order a black pair :)
