Passenger rear view mirror tilt

Tried to search the forum, sorry if this been up a zillion times already

My passenger side rear view mirror has always lowered on reverse - and still does. Though, after having the car on (oil) service, it only lowers minimally. I bet some d*mn mechanic adjusted it to suit him

How do I adjust it to my needs?

Put ignition on, engage reverse and move to the desired dipped position. Disengage reverse and after a bit, or when you drive off it will return to normal and should dip to where you set it

shouldn't that be right? OP is in Sweden and I'm sure they drive on the right ( wrong ) side of the road....

Ha ha yes well spotted. I assumed car was rhd. Doh!

Major Tom - were you driving in Sweden when they switched from driving on the left to the right?
