strange main beam

I have fr with bi xenon. The main beam will not work when the headlamp switch is in the auto position. It flashes ok and works fine when switch is in the on position. All fuses are fine. bulb must be fine as it works when in on position. its just stopped working when in the auto position.

Any ideas??

Behind or built into the rear view I think? Not 100% sure, have a look from the outside of the car, where the blacked out bit of the screen there is usually a cut out for what looks like a camera

Mine is top left hand corner of windscreen. You can just see it here
