18" wheels fitment question

I have a question.

Will 8x18" wheel with ET40 fit Cupra R with Eibach springs?
Maybe someone has a photo with this kind of setup?

Tire size is 225/40.

But... if anyone has a photo of this setup I would like to see it.

I have 8x18" offset 45 on a 235 tyre with the Eibach Sportline's on my Supercopa.
As standard the Supercopa Alloys were 7.5x18" offset 51. This meant that the inner clearance to the hub was the same, but they would extend out an extra 12mm.

On fitting they really fill the arches, but do gently and briefly touch the wheelarch liner occasionally if I go round a corner with purpose or into a dip at speed. I'm happy with that though.

I don't know what size your current alloys are, but if you use the calculator below, it will tell you how the offset you're talking about would change how they sit in your arches. I'd use 235 tyres on an 8" rim too.

The additional 2mm shouldn't make any difference.
