2011 MK2 rear air vents blows cold air

Hi,

Wonder if you can all help. The rear blowers only blow cold air even when turned up to max. Car has been running for over 20 mins so the car is warm.

Any advice would be great!

is the rear aux heater firing up. Even if the rear aux heater is not working you should still get hot water going to the rear blower. Feel the water pipes beneath the passenger floor and see if they are hot if not could be that the valve or aux water pump have stopped working.

I had a similar problem in another car. The problem was in the motors that operated the hot/cold air mixture vents. for each climate zone. So you put the aircon to blow cold, but the motor that operates the vent had stuck to hot, so no cold air was coming out. No faults, nothing, except some clicking noise coming from the motor trying to move. It had stuck because of dirt. After cleaning and greasing, all was fine. It's worth checking this out too. It is called rear temperature flap servomotor - V137. It is somewhere beneath luggage compartment trims, but unfortunately I'm not sure where exactly. Good luck.
