I have just graduated from an Ibiza FR DSG and thought it worth sharing initial impressions.
Firstly, I was surprised at how docile the car feels in traffic, which is good for driving around town smoothly. The stop start is very sensitive, but can be switched off if it gets too annoying.
Economy doesn't seem massively worse to the Ibiza, but I expect it to drop once run in and used properly.
As other threads have highlighted, the Continentals are noisy and it could easily pull an additional, higher, ratio.
I was slightly worried about the bucket seats but love them plus the interior lighting.
Wing mirrors aren't massive and, disappointingly, led rear lights don't include Audi style sweeping indicators.
I'll clean the wheels tomorrow so will probably dislike them after.
Performance is brilliant, even without exceeding 4k mostly.
