Hey S1, when you say the remote is brand new, is that from main dealers or online?

http://dubsteve68.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/seat-leon-leaking-door-seals-repair.html?m=1all doors lock from inside .no doors lock with remote. cant pair remote with car. passenger door front electric window will not lock of the inside button .although if the car is left 5 mins it deadlocks all doors. and electric window passenger side work if the multiplug is disconnected then reconnected and the window button used straight away and window works with door open or closed. if car is left 10 mins then passenger front door nothing works only the puddle light. cant pair remote with car using vcds and all new modules. when car is left and passenger door no power only puddle light if door is opened alarm sounds. door seals already done including pollen filter and plastic shield around front windscreen. vcds says 3 doors working but the one door vcds says is not working will lock after ten mins with deadlocking by itself. then its try to find a way in to the car so i always remove the fuse to make it easier as the only way in is through the back of the car.

My drivers door central locking is now beginning to really annoy me to the point I cant be bothered to lock my car :/
It locks but the alarm doesn't set - the alarm sets but the door doesn't lock - all other doors lock apart from the drivers door and the alarm doesn't set - I unlock the car and the indicators flash to indicate the car is unlocked and alarm is switch off then get in the car and the alarm goes off!!
Any other car and I would have ditched it by now,,,, why am I so attached to this piece of shite! lol
Love my car so much a gave it a full valet on valentines day!

I just had mine sorted turns out it was the door lock module. I bought a second hand part from eBay and had a local auto sparky fit it. I attempted it myself but got so far and never had the time to remove the window glass etc. Was about £150 in diagnostic and labour]
Possibly I suppose it's all linked in someway. I never had a problem with the interior light but the auto lock after 5mph didn't lock the car as a result of the failed module. Like I say I never had that issue but I suppose one system must speak to the other and if one link is broken it may cause that
It doesn't take that long mate. The drivers door lock module only takes an 1hr if you've done it before, maybe 2hrs if you havent.
