Has anyone tried removing the grey plastic where the number plate sits and the grey plastic diffuser on the Cupra 280? I am wondering if they come off easy enough I would paint them gloss black my self

I have not and i suspect that most people would just wrap them, but others can advise if they have done the work.

Hmm that's what I was afraid of sounds too much of a risky job to do in the garage if something breaks

It's quite easy to remove the bumper as just a skin. The insert pops out when you have the bumper off. My M3 FR had the insert sprayed black, was not a great look so I removed and had it wrapped and then popped it back it. Carbon wrap looked so much better. £50 for the wrap.

Ahh so not too bad. I'm thinking black as I have a white with black line and am fitting a trc splitter so would complete the look. I could always get it wrapped if I'm unhappy as a fall back
