I'm getting a knock when turning right after l had a bottom arm fitted by a garage yesterday. I had a complete shaft only 1000 miles ago so lm sure it isn't that. Could a wrongly torqued hub nut make it knock?
It was the o/s. Brand new J&R which I fitted myself. No issues til l give it to a garage, typical.
Left them a message this morning but haven't heard back yet.
Update: They must've been spying on me. Got a call just after ld posted. Wheel bearing causing 'hub slap'. Not sure if that's a technical term or something they made up to impress me haha. Gonna change it tomorrow for me and only charging for the bearing and some cake for their tea break. Bonus.
