I'd like more chrome! The trim along the base of the side windows is something you can add on the FRs on the continent. Goes well with the wheels too.

Found out in the price list I was using that I should have had the storage boxes under the seats. Hopefully they can be retrofitted.

got to say it but I think some of the changes to the facelift model will sway a lot of golf owners over.
I currently drive a 2016 golf gt,with various problems ive had I'm getting rid and I'm currently waiting for a fr tdi184 to arrive.it had some decent kit as standard on my spec, and some very good safety equipment but the facelift model which ive orderd has a lot more features and toys than my current golf.didnt realise you got full link as standard on the leon fr(on the golf you have to pay for a code),the radar thingy has been added which has saved me a couple of times in my golf.
the only thing ive paid extra for on my leon is the convienience pack which gives you automatic light, wipers etc and the dealer done me a good deal on the 18 ich wheels also and still came in cheaper than what I paid for my golf.

So,
Still don't know what Front Assist is or what it does. Not sure what the symbol on the dash is telling me.
Just realised last night I have cornering lights!!, I don't remember this being in the spec.
The LED headlights are amazing compared to my old Leon that also had LED?!?!?, not sure what's changed.
Didn't realise Full link was standard either.

I have cornering lights too which I didn't think my fr would have. Also not got a clue what front assist view is doing on the small screen.

If its the same front assist as on my xcellence it beeps like mad then just brakes for you to avoid you hitting someone in front if you get to close but the indicator on the dash is to give you a visual range mark

had it on my golf and to be fair its a fantastic bit of safety kit.
if the car thinks you are going to go into the back of another veichle it will beep,a pic of the car will come up on the screen and just lamp the brakes on.be carefull tho because it can catch u out even if you don't think you are going to hit the car in front, the car might think different if u know what I mean.
secondly adaptive cruise control is the best thing they have invented lol.
just set your cruise speed and the car will brake and accelerate automatically and you can set your distance on the tft screen.
munkie you can get that off your screen if its the same as the golf.
on the golf you can have your mph digital, compass, phone, music info on the screen.whatever u fancy on there but not got my leon yet so not 100 percent on that.
going back to front assist.if a child or an object runs out infront of you then your car will brake.it was 29mph and under it can do it on the golf, again not sure if that's the same as leon.
brilliant feauture if you ask me.

Yes on the acc there is the plus minus button although the speed is based on duration you hold it so quick click is 1mph and long press is 5mph

that's good.im currently getting 39.2 in my tsi 150 golf and ive done 12,000 miles in a year.
I found the 150 engine very good.i thought it was a cracker.
I did find it struggled a little with a full car load but was more than adequate and sounds quite nice when pushed hard.

Acc just needs you to change gears if required, haven't had to deal with it on assist yet

You mean that under 29mph it will decelerate/stop and just turn the engine off? I guess that should be possible (start&stop is already there).

Actually the Traffic Jam Assist was the only reason I was considering going for an auto... somehow I missed that ACC & Front assist might work better with automatic too.
