Hi guys

I'm trying to get exhaust trim to fit my ends, but not sure if it already has old ones welded on, or are these supposed to be like this from factory.

Maybe u guys can have a look and advise.

Thanks

Speak to a local custom exhaust place and just see if they can weld on some new tips?

Possibly not much more expensive, potentially even cheaper.

What's wrong with your current tips? All they need is a bit of elbow grease plus a tube of Autosol and you'll be able to see your face in them :D

I think the factory tips suit the car pretty well. Last thing you want is a family sized baked bean tin sticking out the back LOL

Oh can I do that? Defo I'm willing to do that. Just that it was looking like something out of game of thrones for a bit, I wanted since valerian steel at the end of it

Which car you fitted that seat sport trim to? I was looking at that but didn't think it would fit

Oh that should fit mine then, anyone know the part number?

It it just a push/slide fit over the std exhaust?

The part number for the SEAT Sport oval tail pipe trim is 1P9072000.

Another member on here has also fitted it to theirs (see this post).

It's designed for a single pipe outlet exhaust (with a bit of cutting back of the original tailpipe) so for anyone who has a twin outlet exhaust then it's not going to fit.

Some more pictures of it fitted to another Leon...

For anyone interested in the oval "SEAT Sport" exhaust trim shown in the last few posts (only compatible for cars with a single pipe outlet on the factory fitted exhaust back box), they can be got from SG Petch in the UK HERE for £100.64 including VAT and shipping to a UK address.

Ok, today I had a go at my exhaust, as some kind brother in here advised, autosol and some elbow grease.

Must say, the results are good. The are some minor brown rust bits I can't get off, but from rear car view, it does gleam.

On some you tube vids it does look too easy, but with some patience, it does work.
