Hi all

I have just completed a cambelt and WP service on my Leon FR 170.

It now suffers from loss of power and hesitation when putting foot down.

Torsion value is set to 0.0 and exhaust cam set to 0.6.

I have been getting P0299 error code. Underboost and it also went into limp mode when I gave it some stick.

What I did notice before carrying out the service was oil/carbon leakage from the left side of the inlet where the actuator is. Could it just be a coincidence that this has failed at the same time, maybe because I wiped around it and interfered?
I have read up that this is caused by the rubbish plastic inlet manifold. Now before I start ordering up the parts to convert to alloy as I plan to keep the car for a few years, would this be a cause for my power loss and fault code?

Thanks in advance. Lee

Just reading up on this again whilst waiting for parts to arrive.

Could my power loss and juddering(like running out of fuel) be down to my fuel filter?

Reason I ask is because the fuel filter tower is removed when doing cambelt. I did order a new filter but it didn't arrive in time. Hopefully in the post tomorrow
