Can anyone assist, I have bought myself the Seat equivalent of the RCD310, the stereo has come from a 2012 Leon, I have taken out the original stereo from my 2008 Altea XL with no problem, hooked up the new one, nothing displays on screen, I know it has power as the eject mechanism sounds when I press the button. I swapped the fuses around on the stereos and still no joy, anyone have any ideas?

You need power (12v) on terminals 15 & 16 in the quadlock connector on the rear. I think your original radio may only have power on one of those terminals.

Thanks for that, it does appear to have different connectors, is it as simple as splicing the original 12v feed and placing a pin in the appropriate vacant connection? And is it a job for a not very technical sausage fingered idiot?

Cheeses for the reply, I've butchered an old stereo connecting cable and obtained a 12v wire, I'll give it a whirl tomorrow, fingers crossed
