Hello,

I just have one simple question to the Cupra 300 or general Leon owners out there. Is there any display quality difference between the media system plus with carplay vs the built-in nav system?

I'm not sure if getting nav is worth it, but I want to make sure the screen quality is the same regardless if the nav is specd or not.

The build in sat nav is definitely worth it to me.

Apple CarPlay is fine for guiding you to a POI in those rare cases that the POI for some reason does not appear in the in build sat nav. Other than that it is simply not comparable to the oem sat nav and I must admit I have not used it on mine since some time last summer..

The in build system provides a much better overview even when not using the navigation but just displaying the map, is in many cases faster, provides guidance in the FIS and by voice even if you shuffle to something else (i.e. Radio in the head unit) and above all it enables you to have different things displayed on your phone and the head unit.

I wouldn't need all that, I'd be super satisfied with Waze, which I heard SEAT is allowing in their cars soon.

Thanks for your answer but it doesn't answer my question.

Does anyone know if the screen with nav is of higher quality than the one without?

Hi Vortex, I was told by the dealer the the 'Nav High' does have better resolution and additional 3D mapping due to the better processor used, it should be faster too. I've spec'd it for my 300 4Drive hopefully arriving July/August
