forge tip problem

hi I am having problems with my forge tip I cannot get it tightened onto the turbo everything else is connected but when I tighten the clip to hold it to turbo the clip moves away from turbo

I've never fitted a clip
To the turbo intake

It's an intake "sucks"
Shove it on and drive it...will sit fine with no clamp if put on right.

Was a nightmare for me to get on, close to tears, but it does go on.

Cant confirm it makes a difference being left on/off.... I just new i'd rather it on
