I am talking really tall (above 200cm) :p

How are you finding seating position in the leon? (maybe compared to the other cars like Octavia, Golf..)

Is there a difference between 3 and 5 door / st version and seating space?

What seat are more comfortable, standard ones or the bucket seats?

Can't comment on the face lift , but certainly the buckets in current 290 are better than the previous standard seats in the 280. With regards to your height and comfort, it's all a bit subjective. For instance, I'm 6ft with a 32" inside leg. My stepson is 6ft 7" with the same inside leg, so will sit higher in the car. His dad is 6ft 7" with a 36" inside leg, and hence actually sits lower in the seat. ( He drives a Peugeot 308, and seems to fit) . Best suggestion is to get to a dealer and try out some vehicles. Good luck

Having had two Leon's, if your tall in the body rather than leg then I'd suggest looking at the electrical adjustable seats, I found with my Cupra which was the second where that was spec'd that the ability to lower the seat both front and back has made a big difference to my comfort.

As already suggested, see as many as you can at dealers.

I'm 6'5'' with extremely long legs and have got to say that the Cupra 280 is probably one of the roomiest cars of that size I've ever been in. I don't even have the driver's seat back as far as it can go!

I guess cupra is lacking something like Audi S3 seats where you can extend and pump the front of the seats high up to support you under knees better.

I'm 6'3 and have a headroom issue inmy Cupra 290. I'm convinced it's a combination of the bucket seats and the panoramic roof as I had no issues at all in the FR previous. (the panoramic roof takes away at least an inch of head room I would say)

One thing I have noticed is that it's only an issue in the morning - by the afternoon I seem to have shrunk enough to fit?!

Has anyone managed to take out washers from the seat base or anything to help lower them?

It's funny that you experience that! I used to have the same problem with some previous cars, I was having to adjust the rear view mirror mornings and evenings! Don't seem to have the problem nowadays, probably because I've reached an age where I can't shrink any lower! LOL.

Not just me then! :D I seem to remember from my school days a story that people shrink by an inch or so during the day due to gravity but always thought that was a playground rumour.

I also have this problem with spine height difference in the morning, seems much higher when I consider my evening mirror placement, however usually there is less than a cm difference...

I may be exaggerating slightly with how much but it's certainly surprising the difference a few hours can make when my hair no longer brushes the roof and I can sit properly in the seat.

In a Clio I had years ago I took out some washers from the seat rails, I'm hoping something similar can be done to these.
