I have a 2017 FR its done 7,500 miles and now its asking for an oil change in 1,900 miles. Is this correct?

The reason why I ask is my last car was due an oil change at 15,000 miles and SEAT refused to do it. Stating it was too early.

Oil change schedule for the Leon is 10,000 miles or 1 yr ; if you're doing a radge-bongo amount of miles in the year then you can request long-life which will increase the distance and reduce the frequency of the changes, but it's the general consensus is that it is safer to change the oil more frequently than less frequently.

Not sure while they would refuse an oil change at 15K.

Your oil change reminder is set for 10000 miles or 1 year (time and distance) where your old car was set to a long life schedule. Under this schedule the engine management flags up when the oil needs changing.

The reason it is saying 9400 miles for the time and distance service in your current car is it is converting the 15000km iNowak quoted to miles but Seat UK round that up to a nice 10000miles.
