Thought it's about time I created a thread. I'm 19, decided to treat myself to a 2016 Leon 1.6 TDI SE TECH PACK back in May. So far so good. No real plans other than a nice set of wheels, rear tints & maybe the Seat body kit.

Have a search on the Mk3 section for Fan washers and boot struts (if your boot will pop with the key fob)
2 good mods and cheap too

also look in to buying a obd11 or if someone near you has access to one or a vcds you can get features turned on like wing mirror lowering in reverse

Nice clean looking car mate. Hope you enjoy it. Fan washers are super cheap and an absolute doddle to do too and a vast improvement over the pistol type that's for certain.

Sorry...couldn't resist!

Fan washer jets are cheap and really easy, then I'd personally look at upgrading interior bulbs to LED, cheap and easy to do as well. You can't go far wrong with a nice set of wheels, especially as yours is a nice colour. I think I'd also look at getting the lower section of your bumper (under the lower grill) and the mirrors wrapped in gloss black...another cheap mod that makes a decent visual difference.

Regardless, nice car fella....just keep it on the black stuff ;)

Thanks guys, is it possible to enable auto folding mirrors if the car doesn't have folding mirrors as standard?

I have tried this with my 1.4 TSI SE with no luck. Even using the App on OBDeleven did not work.

I agree with EddieP when he recommends getting the OBDeleven Pro Dongle. This allows you to do many mods that would normally require vcds. You can see lots of You Tube videos demonstrating this.

If you go to the OBDeleven forums, the first post on the forum list dozens of mods you can do using adaptations, which are easy to do.

It is here: http://obdeleven.proboards.com/board/112/5f-kc

The only drawback is that it only works with an Android device.

They suit the car quite nicely actually though it would benefit from a lower ride height as well. Also the number plate looks decidedly illegal. Wouldn't be surprised if you get pulled for that.

Thanks yeah the car would look well slightly lower. Thankfully police aren't too fussy about number plates in Northern Ireland

Bought a set of genuine 18” FR wheels. They really set the car off
