ACC sensor falls foul of wildfowl

I recently had a run in with a pheasant on the M11. Managed to hit him right in the middle of my ACC sensor (which made my car look as though it had eaten the thing). The impact dislodged the sensor as it knocked it off its mount. Luckily the bird didn’t explode, so there wasn’t too much mess on my radiator. I’m not in a position to validate the sensor function yet, but though it worth asking whether anyone has had to replace their front sensor, along with radiator cover. How much am I likely to be out of pocket by?

Assuming the sensor is ok, I would definitely need to replace its mounting and plastic covering. I haven’t had any luck trying to source the parts individually. Has anyone else had better luck? There doesn’t seem to be any telltale serial number/markings on the pieces. The only bit that has something that resembles a serial number appears to be for something completely different. Photos attached.

Thanks!

That does indeed appear to be exactly what I’m after. Much appreciated!

Out of interest, where did you get the information from, do you have access to a parts catalogue?

Thanks!

Looked it up online, several parts catalogues for vag group available, just get it confirmed by dealer or tps when you order the item. If you put the part number in a search engine then it should come up with a diagram of the item. I used to have a copy of etka ie parts catalogue when i worked for an idependant garage but alas not any more. Still know what to look for though.

Thanks for that. As soon as I searched for one of the parts numbers I was presented with images from a parts catalogue. Very useful!

Thanks again
