Well tomorrow my April 2013 Leon SE 1.2 TSI goes bye bye to the dealers, been reasonably reliable over my ownership apart from oil top ups and an engine re-build to try to cure the oil usage.

So I covered 34,000 miles, average 43mpg, spend 4k on fuel, never failed an MOT and only bought tyres as I had one blow out on me, so not bad I reckon.

I was in the dealers last Saturday and I was originally looking at a new Ibiza but waiting times were shocking as was ordering a new Leon FR. so tomorrow arrives:

Leon Xcellence 1.4 TSI in Urban Silver, no other options but it was a showroom car, got over £4k off list along with 3 years servicing and a not bad trade in.

Hopefully this proves to be just as good as the outgoing model. Will get some pics up when I get a chance, tomorrow will be playing and modding with OBD Eleven.

Well new car now collected, first impressions are that the FL Leon is a bit better screwed together and dare I say handles better as well, also LED lights are a marked improvement.

Only disappointment is despite all lights now being LED interior & exterior the reverse one is still a bulb!!!!

'Excellence!!'

Is a bit odd that with the reverse bulb. If they can make the front and rear indicators do what they do, surely it would be easy enough to make the bulbs LED!
